This is a fantastic opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join a leading organisation based near Selby. In this role you will support a range of business critical applications which range from ERP, risk management and trading software. You will act as an escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved by 1st and 2nd line teams, investigating and resolving application issues wherever possible. In all, there are over 100 applications which are supported by this team and they are a mix of off-the-shelf systems and in-house developed application is .Net. You will also investigate and implement new ways of improving the support function. The role will involve the day to day querying of SQL databases.

As the Application Support Analyst you will have experience of supporting a wide range of software applications. Ideally this will be a mix of off the shelf and bespoke applications, though experience with either is fine. You will have extensive experience of working in a support environment and ideally have the ability to query a SQL database. Experience with Maximo, EnTrader, Aligne, Cascade or Infor will be highly beneficial though not essential. Any experience with of working in a .NET or Java environment would be advantageous.
