Delivery Driver

We are looking to recruit a Delivery Driver to work 10 hours per week at our branch located at Wolds House, York.

The proposed shift pattern is:

Thursday and Friday 1.00pm till 6.00pm

For this role you will be required to remain flexible on a day to day basis in order to meet the needs of the branch, this may mean shift patterns may vary depending on daily requirements.

A vehicle will be provided during your shift, in order for you to complete your daily tasks.

We are looking for an individual who is flexible, has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes. Whilst working to high standards of customer service and presenting a professional image of the Company by acting as an ambassador. In order to fulfil this role you must be able to work under pressure in order to deliver the prescriptions in a defined period of time.

Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible for ensuring that prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures.
This role also requires you to use a computer in order to plan your daily routes and input patient details as and when required, therefore you must be computer literate in order to carry out your required duties.

You may also be required to assist with PR exercises to increase business.
