Electrical Engineer

A brand new opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work with one of Sental’s Global clients.

Role Overview: To work as an Electrical Engineer providing support across the site, everyday activities will include fault finding on various electrical and PLC systems, contributing towards KPI’s and carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance and providing activity reports on a daily basis.

Location: Selby

Duration of Employment: Full time, permanent Hours: 4 on, 4 off – rotating shift pattern days and nights

Responsibilities: – Fault finding on electrical and PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley – Carrying out Root Cause Analysis – Contribute ideas regarding the improvement of the machinery and other equipment – Provide daily reports on activity through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – Provide electrical support across the site and into other areas of the business as required. – To ensure that all health and safety policies are followed. – Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance. – Contribute towards KPI achievements. Experience Required: – Minimum of Level 3 in Electrical Engineering – Competent with PLC systems. – Inverter programming would be advantageous but isn’t essential. – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – Experience working in a regulated environment would be beneficial but isn’t a requirement.
