Freight Forwarding Clerk

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Freight Forwarding Clerk to work with one of Sental’s Global clients.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for offering and coordinating the freight forwarding service to customers

Salary: Up to £24,000 depending on experience

Location: Hull

Duration of Employment: Perm

Hours: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

Carry out booking procedures and ensure that customers receive a first-class service.
Provide confident guidance on import and export processes to clients
Check and prepare documentation to meet compliance with customs, packaging specifications and country regulations.
Collect payments when appropriate.
Maintain good communication and control though at all stages of journey
Experience Required:

Awareness of import/export procedures
Background in Shipping industry is desirable
Confident communicator
Good organisational skills
Great numeracy skills
