Salary: £34,000 – £35,000 OTE: £40,000

Location: Leeds, Selby, Pontefract and York

We are currently recruiting a maintenance engineer for a large manufacturing company in the West Yorkshire region. They are a global manufacturer of a very specific products used in a varied amount of industries. At present the business is growing massively, they are investing heavily into new machines and processes to improve their site efficiencies especially within the engineering department. They are looking for an electrical biased maintenance engineer to work a double day’s shift pattern. Skills required for maintenance engineer: Engineer will need to be Electrically biased Engineer have both mechanical and electrical skills Engineer with experience with Inverters, drives, relays and contactors Engineer with PLCs would be advantageous Apprentice trained, City and guilds or NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering or related course Mechanical experience with Gearboxes, belts, bearing, chains, pneumatics, hydraulics Engineer pre-planned/ reactive maintenance/continuous improvement/projects The Maintenance engineer will benefit from: Engineer working double Days Shift Pattern Blue chip company (growth and stability) Training – PLC Courses, 17 th edition and other maintenance related courses Investment in engineer and opportunities to progress Working on state of the art production machinery Benefits: Pension, £40k OTE Commutable: Leeds, Selby, Pontefract and York If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
