Night Care Assistant

The position of night care assistant includes supporting with personal care to elderly individuals in a residential setting, emotional support & physical support, supporting with refreshments.

Domestic duties are included in the role eg: laundry & cleaning tasks.

A successful applicant will be friendly, dedicated, loyal, honest & hardworking. Flexibility is essential and willingness to cover shifts for holiday & sick cover is also a prerequisite.

Experience is not essential however desirable. Training & attendance at staff meetings is essential.

NVQ/ Diploma in care at level 2 or above is desirable or the successful applicant should be comitted to completing such qualifications.

The post is for 20-30 hours per week and the hours of work could be a combination of 10pm-8am or 8pm-8am.

The post is on a seven day rota basis so includes regular weekend & bank holiday working.

The successful applicant must have a good understanding of team working, working on their own initiative and being led by team leaders and seniors.
