Job Title: Personal Assistant
Hours of work: 12.5 hrs per week (additional hours may be available once small team is established)

Days/Times: Monday – Friday morning and evening 0700/0800 and 2100/2200. Wednesday lunch (30mins) and tea call 4 days per week (30mins) times are to be used flexibly and agreed.

Rate of Pay:£8.90

Young man living in Howden is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to support him to live independently and assist with daily living tasks.

Young man has mild learning disability and physical disabilities and requires support with his morning and evening routine including washing, dressing/undressing, meal preparation, shopping and cleaning.

Personal Assistants need to be punctual, honest, flexible and trustworthy. It is desirable that candidates have knowledge and experience in working with someone who has a disability however this is not essential.

It is essential that all candidates hold a full and clean driving license. Young man has a wheelchair accessible car that is used to transport him to and from social events.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
