We are currently recruiting a unique opportunity to join a really well established but growing and innovative business based in North Yorkshire, easily accessed from both York and Leeds, as well as from Harrogate and Knaresborough. As an integral part of the marketing team, you will be responsible for generating publicity and ensuring a positive and consistent company image as well as raising the company profile. Key Responsibilities: • Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from the press and media • Promoting, managing and maintaining a positive public image of the company • Driving consumer awareness of the business • Crafting carefully written PR and articles • Designing bespoke communication to target specific audiences or in line with specific promotions • Carrying out research on target audiences and demographics as required • Monitoring and analysing the results of PR Campaigns • Producing monthly PR reports • Placing articles in a range publications, with online third party websites and on social media • Building and maintaining relationships with key contacts in the media • Compile regular, up-to-date media lists, targeting contacts and publications who are in accordance with wider business strategy • Generating PR activities relating to company charity and environmental work • Utilising the company PR coverage on social media to encourage further dialogue The successful candidate will have a proven background in PR relations and experience running successful PR scampaigns. You will be a strong team player and have a desire to build a long term career and to develop your social media and PR skills. Excellent writing and communication skills are essential of course, and you will be a creative, driven and dynamic individual.
