Procurement Manager (Indirect)

This role will be working for a UK firm (multi site) with a global presence who delivers pioneering technology.

Salary – £45,000 – £50,000 + Excellent Benefits

Location – Whitley (Commutable from Doncaster, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Goole)

You will be responsible for the full management and development of key indirect procurement categories.
This includes Travel, Hotels, Fleet and office supplies.

What will your role involve?

– Develop and drive the procurement strategy for assigned categories
– Deliver purchasing efficiency savings
– Provide ongoing supplier management and supply chain improvement
– Manage ongoing contract renewals for all indirect spend
– Conduct negotiations with suppliers and drive the supplier selection process

What do we require from you?

– Ideally, MCIPS qualified
– Experience managing indirect spend. Must have experience of Fleet and Travel Management
– Management of categories with over £1m spend per annum and individual purchases of up to £500K
– Proven track record in cost reduction and supplier consolidation
