We are CreateTVT. A local, family run business that aims to help tradesmen and businesses promote and advertise their services within their local area through our distributed advertising publications.

As controller we are in control and responsible for the processing of your personal data. We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

With the nature of our business, which is the production of local advertising publications and the sale of advertising space within them, we collect the following personal data when you provide it to us:

We do this to discuss the current/potential customers requirements. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Zendesk to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. 3. How do we collect personal data?

We obtain personal data from sources as follows:

  • Directly from you when you interact with us, for example when you place an advertisement into one of our publications, request information via email/through our website or via telephone through our sales team.
  • From details given on public promotions such as print advertising, social media, local message boards and other means that show you are actively looking to promote your business within our publication areas.
  • From details on Yell and Google.
  • Enter a competition.
  • Opt into our marketing list.

  • Employee information was submitted by employee upon commencement of employment.

To form a contract with you, we will need some of your personal data described above so that we can perform that contract and the procedure that leads up to it: this is set out above in this notice. If we do not receive the data, the contract may not be fulfilled.

If you sign up to our marketing list, certain personal data, such as email and mobile phone number, will be used to make contact. Your may decide to stop receiving our marketing messages at any time.

 

7. How long will your personal data be kept for?

We carefully consider the personal data that we store, and we will not keep your information in a form that identifies you for longer than is necessary for the purposes set out in this notice or as required by applicable law. In some instances, we will be required to keep your details on our system so your requests can be honoured, i.e. if you wish to not be contacted in the future we require your details to reflect that on our system to ensure it does not happen.

CreateTVT has security measures in place designed to prevent data loss, to preserve data integrity, and to regulate access to the data. Only authorised employees have access to your personal data. We use third party services – Cloud 9 Assist who built and maintains our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sage One where all invoices are produced and stored who has access to your personal data.

The security measures we have in place include:

  • The information stored on the CRM which is accessible by each assigned sales user with a secure password
  • Restriction of access to personal information
  • Monitoring of systems storing and processing information
  • Use of secure technologies (e.g. SSL)
