Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is hosting an exciting Christmas Jumper Race Day this December to bring some festive cheer and raise vital funds for the much-loved charity.

Taking place on Friday, 12 December 2025 at the iconic Doncaster Racecourse, home of the historic St Leger Stakes, the exciting event promises a day filled with Christmas cheer, thrilling horse races, and magical moments for families, friends, and colleagues alike.

There will be a Festive Jumper Competition where guests are encouraged to wear their most eye-catching Christmas jumper and be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

The racecourse will also be decorated with twinkling Christmas trees and festive décor and classic Christmas songs will fill the air as Santa’s helpers surprise guests with ticket giveaways throughout the day.

General grandstand admission is available through the Bluebell Wood website at a discounted price from £20 to just £10 per person. Children aged 17 and under go free when accompanied by an adult and no advance booking for them is required.

The event is kindly sponsored by food specialist cold storage provider, Magnavale.
