Heritage Open Days is a national festival of history and culture. It runs from Friday 11^th September until Sunday 20^th September and here in Doncaster they will have over 80 free events to offer.

There will be walks, talks, workshops and exhibitions along with the opportunity to visit heritage buildings, churches, halls and gardens not often open to the public and it’s all FREE.

The festival is coordinated by the Doncaster Civic Trust (celebrating their 80th Anniversary this year), but involves both voluntary groups and charities, Heritage Doncaster and many local businesses who are willing to give up their time and give the public a taste of local Heritage.
