You will join a dynamic FTSE listed business, one of North Yorkshires leading employers, working as the main finance support to a newly established team, that is responsible for exploring exciting investment opportunities. Your new job title will reflect the commercial orientation of this role Group Research &Innovation Analyst and although you will form part of the Group Financial Planning &Analysis (FP&A) team, you will work directly with a forwardthinking team of Engineers. The team is responsible for investigating a wide range of new technological opportunities, that may be explored further, and ultimately deployed within the Group. You will be responsible for providing information and analysis that will be relied upon by the group Executive Committee and the Board in appraising these new potential ventures.

You will be a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with exposure to investment appraisals. You may have developed your experience in a commercial environment or even within a transaction services or corporate finance focussed role. You will be comfortable developing financial models using Microsoft Excel to forecast potential scenarios and outcomes. You will possess excellent commercial awareness, well developed spoken and written communication skills, and a flexible teamorientated approach, willing to take on any project. Most importantly, you will be excited by a role that will focus upon learning about the Groups operational and commercial business activities.
